Redundancy in Transit Stops & Coverage vs. Accessibility
Sensitivity analysis of a bus coverage model using a sample Charlotte transit line
Transportation planners are often challenged to balance accessibility — how many stops serve riders — against efficiency, so that a route stays practical to operate. Using a sample bus line in Charlotte, this project analyzes the sensitivity of a coverage model by varying how far riders are willing to travel to reach a transit node. Graphics were created using ArcGIS and Power BI.
