This project examines endangered species protection in concept — how a coverage optimization algorithm identifies parcels critical for protection — and applies it to Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, drawing the parallel between the abstract function’s behavior and its real-world application. Graphics were created using Power BI and ArcGIS Pro.
